Bikini competition prep update!

I am officially 9 weeks out in this photo.  I can't say this journey has not had it's challenges.  The diet itself is great.  I eat often and I like the food.  But when you are the only one in your family eating this "clean" it has it's challenges.  The beautiful side to this is it has inspired my husband and children to eat better.  I now make "clean" lunches for my husband when he works.  I do miss going out to eat as a family though.  But I am committed to see this through.  In addition I have faced some emotional challenges during this period as well.  "Every pound has a story" as I like to say....and when you face emotional challenges it makes everything more challenging.  It has taught me to take care of myself inside and out.  I have not been perfect in this process , but I am embracing all that I am learning about myself.  It is a true transformation.  Inside and out.
